The Davidson County Parks and Receation Department has different facilities throughout the county for the citizens of Davidson County to enjoy.  Whether it is an organized sports event or just someone wanting to use a walking trail.  List below are the facilities our facilities and their hours.

Davidson County West Center Street Campus (Main Office):
Monday through Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00pm
There are some acitivities that go on after 5:00 pm.

Optimist Park, Linwood Park, Bombay Park, and Southmont Park
Are open seven day a week throughout the year.  These parks are open to public to use, unless recreational activities are using them. These parks are usable from Daylight to Dusk.

Lake Thom-A-Lex Park:
April 1 to September 5: 6:30 am to 8:30 pm
September 6 to October 31: 7:00 am to 6:30 pm
November 1 to March 31: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Bait Shop:
Mondays through Fridays: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturdays and Sundays: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm


Boone's Cave Park:
May 1 to September 31:
Monday through Saturday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Sundays: 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm

October 1 to April 31:
Monday through Saturday: 8:00 to 5:30 pm
Sundays: 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Hamby Creek Trails:
Daylight Savings Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Eastern Standard Time: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
