Home Delivered Meals Program

Home Delivered meals are provided for homebound seniors. Each meal is prepared by a catering service and consists of a meat, two vegetables and/or fruit, bread, and milk. The meals are delivered during the weekdays by area volunteers who generously give their time and use their vehicles. These friendly volunteers are a source of social contact and help reduce the feelings of isolation that many homebound elderly experience.

Eligibility Requirements:       60 years of age or older       Live within the rural serving area       Unable to prepare or obtain complete and nutritious meals
