The Davidson County Transportation System is a co-ordinated transportation System established in 1979 to provide transportation for the citizens of Davidson County , the human service agencies, the elderly and disabled citizens of Davidson County, and for the general public.D.C.T.S. uses standard, vans, small buses, and small buses with wheelchair lifts to assist persons with specialized transportation needs (paratransit.)

The Davidson County Transportation System will pick you up at your home or a designated pick up point and drive you to your destination within their general Schedule. Their normal hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. till 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is Dialysis transportation available on Saturday as well as some holidays.

Out of County Medical:
The Davidson County Transportation System provides transportation for out of county medical appointments for Medicaid eligible clients.
