IMPORTANT NOTICE: Lexington Route Change
Due to a road closure, the Lexington Circular Route will be modified and will not stop at the following 3 Bus Stops until further notice: Hempstead Street, Davidson County Medical Ministries, and Cecil School. These 3 stops will be serviced by the County Connector Route approximately 40 minutes later than normal and on the opposite side of the street.
NC Safe Plates Course
NC Safe Plates is a food safety certification course developed by North Carolina State University. Certification is provided by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans Wanted For Research Study
Veterans who have served in OIF, OEF and OND may be eligible to participate in a research study conducted by Dr. Katherine Taber at the Salisbury VA Medical Center examining the effects of exposure to blasts or explosions during deployment.
Exposure to Camp Lejeune Water Contaminants
The Department of Veterans Affairs regulations to establish presumptions for the service connection of eight diseases associated with exposure to contaminants in the water supply at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, are effective as of March 14, 2017.
Teaching Scholarships
Applications for the Davidson County Teaching Scholarship are accepted twice a year--September 1st through November 15th and January 1st through March 15th.
