Many Davidson County families struggle to make ends meet because of parents who don't pay their child support. The Davidson County Social Services Child Support Enforcement Program is committed to its mission to help in securing financial and medical support for the children in these families.
The five major services offered are:
Location of Non-Custodial Parents
Establishment of Paternity
Establishment of Support Obligations
Collection of Support Payments
Enforcement of Support Payments

How to apply for Child Support:
It is best to come to Social Services to apply because that will speed up the processing of your application. You may also complete the Web Application or request that a paper copy be mailed to you; no action, however, can be taken on your case until an application fee (if applicable) is received along with your completed and signed application package.
Obtain the Web Application; complete and sign both the application and the supplement. Then bring or mail the application package (at this time, the CSE application cannot be submitted via the Internet) to a Davidson County Child Support Enforcement Office at:
