women 55 years of age and older an opportunity to display their inner beauty,
personality, and elegance, the Ms. Senior Davidson County Pageant seeks to draw
attention to the achievements of senior women. The pageant motivates and
encourages women to utilize their full potential and share a positive outlook
on life with others.
Davidson County Department of Senior Services will sponsor its 25th annual
Ms. Senior Davidson County pageant at 7 p.m. June 29 at Rich Fork Baptist
Church, 3993 Old Hwy 29 in Thomasville.
A contestant search is now in progress for ladies to compete for the title of Ms. Senior Davidson County. Contestants will be judged on personality, poise, grace, and their answer to an impromptu question. Applicants must live in Davidson County. Each contestant will enjoy a Queens Court pampering day, luncheon and post-rehearsal dinner for themselves and a guest. Winner, first and second runners-up and Ms. Congeniality will be awarded trophies and special prizes.
The pageant winner will advocate on behalf of senior citizens throughout the reigning year by representing Senior Services at community and special events.
