Drop Off Sites & Trucks

The Sanitation division is a vital link in the overall operations of the Davidson County Integrated Solid Waste Department. This division consists of 11 strategically located Recycling Centers (formerly known as boxsites) and a fleet of 3 full-time roll off trucks. These trucks log over 100,000 miles annually to ensure all waste and recyclables are transported properly from the drop off sites to the Landfill and Material Recovery Facility (MRF).

Each drop off site is staffed with one county employee to assist residents with their disposal needs and to ensure everyone’s visit is safe and pleasant. View a list of drop off sites to help you decide which is closest to you. There is a 5 gallon limit of motor oil disposal.

** Effective Tuesday, November 5th, 2019 Lopp Rd Recycle Center will close every Tuesday. All Residential household garbage, bagged trash can be disposed of at the Convenience Center located at 220 Davidson County Landfill Rd.**

  • Approved recyclable items to drop off at any one of our Recycling Centers:
