Senior Services

COVID-19 UPDATE

As Executive Order No. 195, which lifted the Modified Stay at Home Order, remains active, the Department of Senior Services is easing some restrictions to provide for in-person services.

Although the departments facilities remain closed, senior center staff are now offering outdoor and drive-thru activities. Contingent on volunteers to deliver meals, nutrition program staff are making plans, starting in May, to resume daily hot meals delivery on some routes. In addition, congregate nutrition sites staff will begin offering daily, drive-thru style hot meals.

In an attempt to resume regular operations, management will continue to monitor the coronavirus spread and it’s impact on older adults.
