Youth

  • Age Cut-off for All Youth Sports: August 31st of playing year.

Basketball

  • Age Groups:
  • Instructional Boys and Girls (9 years old)
  • Little League Boys and Girls (10-11 years old)
  • Junior Boys (12-13 years old)
  • Senior Boys (14-16 years old)
  • Sign-Ups and Season: 
  • Sign-Ups: October (Contact Local Booster Club to see when they are holding sign-ups.
  • Season: December to February. Games are during week and weekend.
National High School Federation rules are used, with some local exceptions.

Football

  • Age Groups:
  • Peewee: Child is in at least third grade and is 8 years of age on or before August 31 of playing year and has not advanced beyond the fourth grade and is not over 10 years of age on or before August 31 of playing year.
  • Little League: Child is in at least fifth grade and is 10 year of age on or before August 31 of playing year and has not advanced beyond the sixth grade and is not over 12 years of age on or before August 31 of playing year.
  • Sign-Ups and Season:
  • Sign-Ups: June and July (Contact Local Booster Club to see when they are holding sign-ups.
  • Season: September - November

Volleyball

  • Age Groups:
  • Little League- 10-11 years old
  • Junior League- 12-13 years old
  • Senior League- 14-17 years old (New Division- Spring)
  • Sign-Ups and Season:
  • Sign-Ups- Fall Volleyball- June and July- Spring Volleyball- January and February (Contact your Local Booster Club to see when they are holding sign-ups)
  • Season- Fall- September-November    Spring- March-May
  • Fall- Games are held West Center Street Gym and Area Middle Schools, Spring- Games are held West Center Street Gym and Area Middle Schools

Adult

Adult Co-Ed Kickball

  • Ages: 18 and Up
  • Registration: To Be Announced
  • Entry Fee: To Be Announced
  • Games will be played at Hughes Park, Tuesday and Thursday nights
  • Team Rosters and Entry Fees Due: To Be Announced.
  • Adult Co-ed Teams 9 to 20 players per team

Adult Pickleball

  • Local: West Center Street Gymnasium 555-D West Center Street Extension, Lexington, NC 27295
  • Equipment: Parks and Recreation will supply nets and pickle balls. Please wear tennis shoes to play.
  • Fees: Monday through Friday- daytime play is free. Sunday play has $3.00 fee to play.
