Civil Divsion

Responsibilities

One of the statutory obligations of any Sheriff in North Carolina is the responsibility as the enforcement arm of the North Carolina General Court of Justice. This duty includes the service of civil and criminal processes issued by the Court and providing courtroom security in the District and Superior Court sessions in the County.

As there are two separate responsibilities, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office Civil Division has Lieutenant Rabon and Lieutenant Curry providing supervision to the men and women who serve in the Civil Division. Lieutenant Rabon and Lieutenant Curry are available to answer any question a citizen may have by calling 336-242-2243 any Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
