A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Support Services Building, 925 North Main Street, Lexington, NC for all Bidders at  9:00 am on August 4th, 2021.

The public opening for this project will be held at  3:00 pm, September 1st, 2021, in the Support Services Building, 925 North Main Street, Lexington, NC

Consideration will be given only to Bids of Contractors who are able to submit evidence showing that they are properly licensed under "An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting", ratified by the General Assembly of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and so subsequently amended.
Special Requirements:
Each bid must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Security may be in the form of cash, a certified check made payable to County of Davidson, NC and drawn on a bank or trust company insured under the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or a Bidder's Bond.

Both Performance Bond and a Payment Bond are required in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon the payment in full to all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for and in connection with the construction of the project.
The Owner reserves the rights to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids and Proposals.

No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids for a period of ninety (90) days. Any Bids received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Davidson County reserves the right to retain Bids for a period of 90 days from receipt
