Opioid Awareness Program

Monday, October 14, 2019

Davidson County Senior Services along with Davidson County Health Department Public Educator Karen Villines, will provide an informational program on the opioid crisis in Davidson County and medication management for older adults.

This program will be held at 10:00 a.m. October 14 at the Davidson County Senior Center in Thomasville, located at 211 W Colonial Drive.
Due to decades of prescribing opioids at higher doses, North Carolina is experiencing an opioid epidemic that is devastating families and communities. Join Senior Services for this program and see how you can be an important factor in helping to fight back and prevent opioid abuse.
All Davidson County residents 55 and older are encouraged to attend at no charge. Preregistration is required by October 9. For more information or to register, please call (336) 474-2754 or email dcsstville@davidsoncountync.gov
