The mission of the Davidson County Information Technology Department is to offer quality, cost-effective information services to assist County departments in fulfilling their responsibilities to provide services to the public.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Information Technology Department provides and maintains several information systems for the employees and citizens of Davidson County. Our systems are designed to provide efficient delivery of information resources to the employees of Davidson County while maintaining a secure environment for data integrity, accessibility and system availability.

Our primary role is to promote the various missions of the county government through cost effective and efficient use of information technology. We are committed to providing dependable, reliable support and training for our computer users.

We provide on-site support to the end users within our organization as well as assist with decisions related to information technology purchases. We serve as liaison between the many departments of the county to facilitate, to the largest extent possible, the integration of our information systems.
