Ms. Senior Davidson County

Giving women 55 years of age and older an opportunity to display their inner beauty, personality and elegance, the Ms. Senior Davidson County Pageant seeks to draw attention to the achievements of senior women. The pageant motivates and encourages women to utilize their full potential and share a positive outlook on life with others.

2017-2018 Pageant

At the 25th annual Ms. Senior Davidson County Pageant on June 29, over 100 enthusiastic viewers applauded Demetress Johnson as she was crowned the new Queen. Demetress, age 69 and retired customer service representative plans to spend her reigning year advocating on behalf of older adults.

Organized by Davidson County Department of Senior Services, the annual pageant was held at Rich Fork Baptist Church in Thomasville. It was a beautiful evening as nine women, Demetress Johnson, Sherry Smith, Gilda Nifong, Miriam Adderholdt, Myriam Bravo, Barbara Alley, Suzi Wallace Fire, Carol Hughes, and Sheila Flynn competed for the title.
